finances for Ronald McDonald Houses of Denver & Aurora
	The Denver and Aurora Houses are truly a community effort and labor of love. Although each House is affiliated with an international network of Ronald McDonald Houses worldwide, the Denver and Aurora Houses are part of an independent, non-profit corporation, locally owned and operated by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Denver, Inc. Our Houses are not part of a United Way Agency and receive no government funding. We are entirely dependent on donations from the community.   In Denver, McDonald's Corporation and individual owner/operators generously contribute to approximately 20% of the annual operating costs of the Houses. The rest of the funding is derived through special events held throughout the year in the Denver metro area. It is because of efforts like these that our properties have been mortgage free since 1984.
